About Tewantin

Tewantin is a small town located on the Noosa River about 10 minutes drive from Noosa Heads. It has a distinctly village feel, with several general and boutique shops, a hotel and the Tewantin Marina – home to local music, Sunday markets, great fish and chips and the starting point for the Noosa Ferry.  The lookout at Mt Tinbeerwah is the perfect spot to overlook the national forest, lakes and ocean.

The volunteers at Parkyn Hut can give you the low down on local history and characters.  Originally a timber town and the river port for the Noosa Area, it is now the home of the Noosa Shire Council and the Noosa Regional Art Gallery.

The North Shore Ferry departs from the bottom of Moorindil Street and is the main point of access to the North Shore, Teewah, Great Sandy National Park and Fraser Island via Inskip Point.  The drive up the beach is a highlight not to be missed, stopping in at the Coloured Sands and ending your trip with a picnic at Double Island Point.

Tewantin is also home to the local RSL, the Department of Transport, and arguably the best coffee at Zabe Espresso.

Not to mention it is where you can find our office at The Atrium, corner of Poinciana Avenue and Sidoni Street – that’s what makes Tewantin extra special.  Call in to see Jo & Megan for a chat about all your local property management needs – from Tewantin to Twin Waters, Noosa to Ninderry, Castaways to Coolum, Munna Point to Mountain Creek, we have the Sunshine Coast covered.
